AMERICANS UNEMPLOYED

The number of people unemployed in the US rocketed to a 26-year high of 9.4 percent of the workforce in May, according to government figures released on Friday.

We do not blame the illegales for comming here taking jobs away from us. We Blame the companies that hire them and our Government for letting this happen.

For every AMERICAN unemployed their are Probably at least 5 or more  illegals working and not paying taxes.  The liberals will tell you that the illegals are just doing the job that we Americans don't want. THAT IS BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!! Companies hire them before they hire a legal American so they don't have to pay the taxes. Which leaves us out of a job. Look at all the Americans out f work right now and look at all the illegals that are working. THIS IS BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What they are not telling us

A Department of Labor report released today shows unemployment continues to rise with 467,000 jobs slashed in June, pushing the unemployment rate up to 9.5 percent.

Despite optimistic projections by President Obama, the report shows that companies in America are still cautious about hiring. A total of 14.7 million are unemployed as of June. The economy has lost a net total of 6.5 million jobs since December 2007 when the recession began. The job report said for employees that kept their jobs, some work weeks fell in June to 33 hours. ( They meant that they are cautious about hiring legale Americans.)

According to the Associated Press, “professional and business services slashed 118,000 jobs, more than double the 48,000 cut in May. Manufacturers cut 136,000, down from 156,000. Construction companies got rid of 79,000 jobs, up from 48,000 the previous month. Retailers eliminated 21,000, up from 17,600. Financial activities cut 27,000, following 30,000 in May. The government cut 52,000 jobs, up from 10,000 the previous month. Leisure and hospitality cut 18,000 jobs, erasing a gain of the same size in May.”  ( What they are not telling you about the construction companies is that they laied off the legale Americans and kept the illegals and then hire more.) THIS IS A FACT! Go to any construction sit and you will see who is working.

Minorities are more affected by the unemployment rise. In May, black unemployment climbed to 15 percent, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Since the start of the recession 16 months ago, black unemployment has jumped 6.1 percent. ( It's not because they are black, It's because they are Americans.)

USA TODAY and Deere & Co. are the latest to announce cuts. The newspaper publisher Gannett Company plans to cut 1,400 jobs in the next few weeks. Meanwhile, the machinery company known as John Deere, said 800 employees have taken a voluntary buyout.

In the White House briefing Wednesday, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs tried to address the rising unemployment rate. “I think that the public rightly, as the President will be, rightly anxious until we see job creation, not job loss; positive economic growth, not negative economic growth.  I think that's going to take some time -- not simply because it's a lagging indicator, but I think for the economy to turn around from the depth that it has been in is not going to happen over the course of one or two months but the course of many, many, many months.”

At the Federal Reserve, Chairman Ben Bernanke predicts the recession will end this year. Other economists say the economy will rebound during the July-September quarter. Gibbs adds, “I don't equate what's going on necessarily each and every day in the economy to the ups and downs of the stock market.  I never have.” If the unemployment figure does not change, the numbers could affect the results of congressional elections next year. The White House claims federal stimulus money has been sent to states but has not been dispensed to the areas most hit by the job downturn.

As I said in an interview with Sky News in March, it will take some time before we know whether this stimulus plan will really work. I think employers and employees alike want to return to better economic times.

Unemployment news

Here is a June 2009 version of the summary that calculates the Effective Unemployment Rate, which is now 18.70%, and the Effective Number of Unemployed, which is now 30,172,000.

There are currently 14,729,000 officially unemployed workers, as just announced. However, this figure does not include the combined 15,443,000 workers either (1) in the "labor force reserve" because they have abandoned their job searches (i.e., 4,278,000) or (2) underemployed because they are "part-time of necessity" (i.e., 8,989,000) or "otherwise marginally attached" (i.e., 2,176,000).

The effective unemployment rate is therefore 18.70%, instead of the official 9.51%.

Since the start of the recession in December 2007, the number of workers who are officially unemployed has increased by 7,188,000, while almost twice as many workers - 13,290,000 - have become effectively unemployed. And all the while, we should have been creating around 2,250,000 new jobs (i.e., 18 months times 125,000 jobs per month) just to keep up with population growth.

In June, the number of workers officially unemployed increased 218,000, while the number of workers effectively unemployed actually decreased 35,000.
